The Louisville Historical Society awarded 614 West Main a “Future Landmark” award for its sensitive design in the rich historic neighborhood.

A vacant lot, located in the center of the West Main Street Historic District, presented a challenge to design a new 6-story building that was compatible with the adjacent historic architecture. The developer also owns the adjacent 620 West Main Street Building, a historic building that K. Norman Berry Associates had renovated previously. The goal was to create the same floor-to-floor heights for the new building to align with the 620 West Main Street Building. The new design complements the scale and massing of the adjacent building.
