An important preservation of this 150-year old Louisville landmark

St. Joseph Catholic Church was built in 1866. The goal was to restore the steeples to make it close to the 19th century look when it was first built. KNBA and Senler Campbell completed the original assessment for St. Joseph Catholic Church Campus. From this assessment, the first scope of work was the steeple and masonry renovation.

KNBA, Senler Campbell and Patrick D. Murphy completed construction observation with the 10-stories of scaffolding during these efforts. As a team, we worked directly for the owner to oversee construction activity performed by the contractor, General Resotration Company. The work included new slate roofs on the two spires, masonry tuckpointing on the tower walls and the north wall of the main church facade.
