The design incorporates “learning village” concepts, placing classroom spaces within and adjacent to technical lab areas, with physical and visual connections, blurring the lines between the theory and execution of the work. Spaces which invite informal collaboration and interaction are incorporated as well as demonstration areas where students practice their presentation skills. Work-based learning techniques lead to career readiness reinforcing student interests in their selected discipline of study.
