Steve Eggers has been with KNBA since 1978 and served as Managing Principal for 13 years. During the course of Steve’s career, he has provided a foundation for the firm, leading many significant projects that have guided the firm to success. He continues to support firm leadership, participates in the firm’s civic engagement efforts, and mentors the staff. With over 40 years’ experience, Steve has designed a variety of building types, including educational, office buildings, banking facilities and most notably, historic preservation projects.
Steve received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Kentucky, College of Architecture. He is licensed in Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia. In 2011, Steve received AIA Kentucky’s most coveted honor, the C. Julian Oberwarth Award. Previously, he received AIA Kentucky’s Distinguished Service Awards (2009 and 1999) for service to his community and dedication to his professional organization.
