Principal

Harry Dumesnil, Principal with KNBA since 2014, is involved in all phases of project management. Harry has nurtured a reputation for providing focused personal attention to each client throughout his career. Harry leads many of the firm’s K-12 projects, as well as significant historic renovation work. He is the firm’s go-to person for interpretations of the Building Code and its application to complex projects. He is primarily responsible for design, client communication, preparation of documents, inter-disciplinary coordination with consultants, and construction administration.

Throughout Harry’s 30 plus years of experience, he has worked on a variety of structures including educational facilities, office buildings, laboratories, technical facilities and data centers and historic preservation projects. His particular expertise lies in master planning, architectural design and detailing, space planning, cost estimating and evaluation of building, fire and accessibility codes. Prior to joining KNBA in 2001, he worked at Kling Lindquist, an architectural firm in Philadelphia, PA.

Harry completed undergraduate studies at Dennison University and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky, College of Architecture. Harry is licensed in Kentucky.
